In order to purchase land you will need to set up a Bulgarian Company, the process is very simple. You need your passport, a company name and then we will do the rest for you!When you wish to buy a property you will need to make a 10% deposit and the initial company capital is 5000 leva. Property transactions are usually done in euros and we recommend you to bring large sums in the form of travellers’ cheques. Upon entering Bulgaria, foreigners also have to fill in a declaration to import foreign currency.
The fee for registering a Bulgarian limited-liability company is 600 Euros. It includes solicitor charges and registration taxes with the court and tax authorities, reserving the company name with the National Statistics Institute and get the BULSTAT card, receive the company certificate and make the company stamp.
